Megan and Madi @ The Beach!

So here is some more from the twins...AWESOME PHOTO CHICKS! They always have a new expression or face for me...I'm going to really enjoy looking back at all of these as they get older and grow up. The was our trip to the beach with 4 other families (each with 3 kids) so at any given time there was usually about 10-12 kids in the house and lots of energy to boot. I forgot how covered in sand kids get...but they love the beach. It doesn't matter to them if they get sand in their shorts or ice cream on their face...and they cry when it's time to go home for the night and wash all the sand away! Overall though, it was a great week with lots of PIRATE Adventures. Then we came back to PA for our own adventures of going to the library and walking for smoothies with "TT" and mommy! Most nights by 5-6pm I'm tired! they used to tell their mom that I tire them out...now it's me and mommy that are tired! They are great girls and I love all of them to pieces! Enjoy the photos...perhaps you'll see one or two that remind you of you family and childhood summer vacations!

Happy Diggin for sand crabs!

Vegas 2

So tonight I am pretty much blogging for all the photos that I have yet to get caught up on from weddings, trips and random other stuff. At the moment though I'm going to share some more photos from Vegas when I went out to see my friend Ryan! I was talking to his mom the other day and realized she had not been able to see the great photos I took the day we hiked Red Rock National Park with his furry friend Rasta! So here you go! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Blessings,

Kate

VIVA LAS VEGAS!

Viva Las Vegas!
Well I have arrived back on the east coast after about 8 sunny, sweaty days in Las Vegas...it was a wopping 115 Degrees there usually and sometimes it felt like that was only in the shade...I wanted to take the time to share some snaps with you from the trip...I really had a blast and my bud Ryan made me feel right at home, by the time I left he said "next time you can show other people around like a local, since you have been almost everywhere in the city." We were on and off the strip. We played at some of the casinos, learned the ins and outs of roulette from my friends who came in from Arizona. I did some fun photography and two nights before I left we hiked red rock national park to watch the sun come up over Las Vegas...simply beautiful. Ryan is a chef at the Bellagio casino in a restaurant called "Fix". The week I was there both Cameron Diaz and Shaq came to dine there. Unfortunately I was not at the casino to get a photo op with them...but perhaps one days I'll be rich and famous and they will want a picture with me...:-) a girl can dream right? Any ways enjoy the hand full of pictures I have selected. Hope you all have a safe, happy, healthy and cool week! I'm back to shooting weddings this weekend! Sarah and Jason get married on Saturday! Can't wait to work with them...the pictures will be awesome I'm sure...I'll be sure to post some of the best takes here after the wedding!
Blessings!

Washington DC

This week I had the privilege of being able to visit our nation's capital with some of my favorite people, my friend Brandon and my friend Jim. We walked all of the monuments that we could in the center of town. My goal was to photograph some new places, faces and spaces. It was a great way to revive the senses while providing photography tips for Jim, as he was working on an assignment for his new photography class. It was a wonderfully sunny, warm day that made you want to do anything but go back inside.

Take a moment to smell the roses every once in a while. Even if it means taking a day off of work to do so. You never know what you might find. Or you might just wish you were the bird splashing around in the fountain in the WWII memorial that I found.

Either way just don't forget to live!

New Photos

Today I had the pleasure of photographing one of the Lehigh Valley's heartthrobs, Brandon...He is currently a communication design major studying to get a new media degree from NACC. I have known him for 10+ years and he has graced the covers of my business cards websites and other publications for my company. I hope to add him in the future as part of my graphic design team for web sites and albums for my other photographic clients. Keep an eye out for him and his work in the valley under the newly established company he is starting by the name: Nelson Design.

Below are some of the other pictures and our favorites from our shoot today...Enjoy!
