Alexander - Newborn Session

Here's Alex's newborn shoot...I love the hospital shots, cause that's real life as it happens, yet this is my style, studio shoots...4 hours, poop & pee on the floor, many feedings, stressed out new mom and baby who has no idea why he is being put through what will be his first of many shoots since his aunt is a photographer...I'm sure he will learn to love the camera...

I love the bits and pieces...ears, hands, hair....
The one below is one of my favs from this session...
I love his connection with mom right from day one...

One of the few frames I have of this active little guy...I actually was able to rock him to sleep for just a few minutes of quiet photo time...

Love the lips...

Megan and Madi @ The Beach!

So here is some more from the twins...AWESOME PHOTO CHICKS! They always have a new expression or face for me...I'm going to really enjoy looking back at all of these as they get older and grow up. The was our trip to the beach with 4 other families (each with 3 kids) so at any given time there was usually about 10-12 kids in the house and lots of energy to boot. I forgot how covered in sand kids get...but they love the beach. It doesn't matter to them if they get sand in their shorts or ice cream on their face...and they cry when it's time to go home for the night and wash all the sand away! Overall though, it was a great week with lots of PIRATE Adventures. Then we came back to PA for our own adventures of going to the library and walking for smoothies with "TT" and mommy! Most nights by 5-6pm I'm tired! they used to tell their mom that I tire them out...now it's me and mommy that are tired! They are great girls and I love all of them to pieces! Enjoy the photos...perhaps you'll see one or two that remind you of you family and childhood summer vacations!

Happy Diggin for sand crabs!

More Megan and Madison

This last one makes me smile...because even in two days I can see that this is truely their spirits coming out...Madison is the serious one alot of times looking out for her sister while still she poses for the camera sticking her tongue out at me and Megan is the one that is just happy to run play and smile, and I can usually always catch her looking at me and smiling when she doesn't think I'll catch her.

I uploaded the first ones before this one so scroll down and read on as to who my new little gems are. Check back often for new shots from Megan and Madison as well as all moy new work!

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings

Megan and Madison

So I know a few of you know about the new munchkins I am taking care of...Megan and Madison! So CUTE!!! Here are some of the first pictures I have taken of them. I was so suprised that they were stoked with taking pictures of them...and Madison was a real poser for the camera. Mom was happy that we got some good pictures of them together as well as bringing out their true attitudes. Megan has the piggie tails in her hair and Madison was happy to pose with her "Ducky".

I can't wait...Next week we go to the beach and you better believe there will be lots of pictures of them, their big sis and the rest of the crew from our week! So check back often as many of you know this blog is always getting updated...and there may be a blog in the works for Meg and Madi all just about them. I have some ideas for some really cute fairie pictures and some out on the big hay bails...if they aren't moved in the next few days.

I hope you all have a safe happy evening!

Blessings!
Kate

New Dog Photos

Hello All again!
The warm weather has kept things new and fresh for me...here's a new snap while on my quest for some new pet photos...we all know how we love our animals! Even our kids that act like animals or vice versa some times! I had a great time with this pup and his mommy! he was extremely enthralled as soon as we started putting treats down in front of him...but then almost to much so...it's kind of funny especially after shooting kids all winter, pets are a new feet...cause you can't quite talk to them the same way that you talk to kids...and they don't understand you quite the same either!...it's intriguing! but exciting all at the same time.

I am also planning on doing a trip to NYC hopefully in February with some girls and their wedding gowns and running around the city photographing for the day! how fun will this be!? I also have a bride who wants to do fire breathing for a "trash the dress" shoot. I'm trying to get 15-20 brides to do "TTD" shoots to use in an exhibit for a local show in the LV! More to come on that on a later date! really excited about that too!

Hope You had a great weekend...mine is just getting started since I have one more day off before I go back to my "job" but then my photography is my "love"....it's a new adventure every day! I can't wait till tommorrow!

Be blessed every day!
