More Puppy Photos!

So I spent the afternoon with my good friends Sara and Paul and their two cute puppers...Snuggles & Daisy...quite energetic from the get go I think we got some really cute shots of them and the whole family together...it much reminded me of an extended baby/kid session that I do all day everyday with my other photography jobs...except this was more challenging as I'm finding most of the pets are...they selectively speak your language and understand phrases like, "walk, treat, and where's the squirrel or other dog" so bribes in many ways stand true as they do with small children in getting their pictures taken yet they seem to more instinctively ignore you when there is a bit of more interesting stuff going on in the yard or across the street.

Never the less it's still a fun job...and I'm so glad that photography is something that my life has chosen me for!

so enjoy! cause I know I do!

Attack of the Bugzillas!

So I thought it would be pretty cool to check out my ladybugs that have been in my new home since we moved in...so the other night I started to document them...I know I'm strange...but when you have the drive to shoot something with your camera...the hunger will find you almost anywhere...so here are a few of the ones that I caught...I'm hoping that they will bring me the good luck that they are supposed to in the year to come! Let's see what happens...I'll keep you posted!

Enjoy!, I know I will

Could you?

Can you lay your life down so a stranger can live?
Can you take what you need but take less than you give?
Can you close every day without the glory and fame?
Could you hold your head high when no one knows your name?

That’s how legends are made, at least that’s what they say.

We say goodbye, but never let go
We live we die, cuz you can’t save every soul.
Gotta take every chance to
show that you’re the kinda man who
Will never look back, never look down,
and never let go

Can you lose everything you ever had planned?
Can you sit down again, and play another hand?
Could you risk every thing, for the chance of being alone?
Under pressure find the grace, or would you come undone.

That’s how legends are made, at least that’s what they say.

We say goodbye, but never let go
We live we die, cuz you can’t save every soul.
Gotta take every chance to
show that you’re the kinda man who
Will never look back, never look down,
and never let go

~For so many reasons from this week, this is such an important and meaningful song for me.
Could you lay your life down for a friend with the chance of losing everything? I hope those that are fighting
for us across seas and worlds apart from us remain safe and sound until it is their time to return home.
I sit here and watch the snow fall and wonder why things happen...but I have to continue to believe that
they happen for a reason! I am so blessed to have the friends that I do. To know that you are loved is one
of the greatest feelings in the world. I hope I can live my life truly inspired every day!!

Oldies but Goodies...the pictures are old...not my friends!

Hello All,
again from the quite calm and quite home I reside in. I was just browsing my myspace account
when I remembered that I had some new photos that some of you may be interested in seeing. I have added a bit of my own new flare to them, yes I did take the photographs but during what is going on three years ago. when none of us could have even imagined what our life would be like today! ;-)

I wanted to post some pictures of my friend Tom, whom I consider a great friend of mine and above and beyond that a very talented musician who not only plays the drums, but composes, song writes, plays and records his own music. I also know like me with my photography, if he could do this all day every day he would live, sleep, eat and breath music...and perhaps still allow me to cook him dinner on occasion when he becomes rich and famous. :-D He along with one of his best friends Ryan Asher who has been on the music scene on his own already for the past few years, and for some of his gigs Tom has provided percussion for...along with their friend Darren have formed a band called "Skyfall". Which I also have the luxury of getting to listen to band practice when they are here at the house practicing. They are up and coming, all extremely talented and gifted in their own ways provide musical talents for one and another to enjoy in their new found group.

I hope to feature some of their music either from Tom individually or from the band for my slide shows for clients. Their style is happy, calming and content...hopefully one day we will all be able to listen to their music in our homes, cars, on the radio or perhaps in movies! I wish them all the best and know they feel the same about my own artistry as a photographer. So watch out as Tommy Szy comes on to the scene with his own songs as well as "Skyfall" as they start playing in the PA and NY states!

Enjoy the Snaps too! More to come from future concerts hopefully as well as another shoot or two in our barn and chicken coop! YAY you'll have to wait to see if you don't know what I'm talking about!

Be the Best!

New Dog Photos

Hello All again!
The warm weather has kept things new and fresh for me...here's a new snap while on my quest for some new pet photos...we all know how we love our animals! Even our kids that act like animals or vice versa some times! I had a great time with this pup and his mommy! he was extremely enthralled as soon as we started putting treats down in front of him...but then almost to much so...it's kind of funny especially after shooting kids all winter, pets are a new feet...cause you can't quite talk to them the same way that you talk to kids...and they don't understand you quite the same either!...it's intriguing! but exciting all at the same time.

I am also planning on doing a trip to NYC hopefully in February with some girls and their wedding gowns and running around the city photographing for the day! how fun will this be!? I also have a bride who wants to do fire breathing for a "trash the dress" shoot. I'm trying to get 15-20 brides to do "TTD" shoots to use in an exhibit for a local show in the LV! More to come on that on a later date! really excited about that too!

Hope You had a great weekend...mine is just getting started since I have one more day off before I go back to my "job" but then my photography is my "love"....it's a new adventure every day! I can't wait till tommorrow!

Be blessed every day!

New Pet Photos...Coming Soon!

Hello Again One and All,
So I have been keeping up with my shooting and shooting some new things at that. I am proud to announce that I am planning on being involved in the "Spring on 4th...What's on 3rd" Celebrations this year...offering pet photos. I think this is going to be a candid ordeal...bring your pets down, have a few pictures taken of them for free and just plain have fun! I'm planning on doing this as a launch for my photography in the Valley. If you would like a formal session for you and your fuzzy friends or just of them book it then for a later date in the spring or summer of 2008!

I am also planning on doing horse photos on a larger scale (Obviously since they are larger animals... :-) )in the spring as well...more of that to come later. Hope you all had a great and safe weekend! stop back often for the ever growing list of what I am up to this year!

Gettysburg/New Year's Eve 2008

OK...one more for tonight! I spent New Year's 2008 in Gettysburg with my good friend Brienna. I was able to go to a basketball game for Gettysburg High School while I was there. Good to practice shooting and pre-anticipating the action!

Brienna is a photographer out in Gettysburg. Check her work out here!
She took the fantastic new photos of me that
appear in my profile here as well as:
my new shot for my bio page on my website!
Thanks Brie!

I love road trips cause you just never know what you are going to find or get to see! I was happy with the pictures that I did find out there and I think this is one of the stronger ones. What do you think?

Have a great night!
